A 20-year-old animal lover has died in a car crash on a remote Outback road in Queensland.
Taylor Grittner, 20, died in the accident near Lyndhurst, south west of Cairns, on Thursday.
She was a passenger inside the car. The vehicle's 17-year-old female driver was flown to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Thea Ormonde, whose son was friends with Ms Grittner, said all her mates were 'in shock'.
'She was a beautiful girl and the community is devastated,' Ms Ormonde said.
'It's just a shock, you don't know what life will bring, she was just a fun-loving girl and just so young,' she said.
Anyone with information about the crash, which happened at around 6.20pm on Thursday, is urged to contact police.
